Didn't Think I'd Like Sushi

I never thought I'd like sushi. It sounded nasty to me. Now I'm eating raw salmon, tuna, shrimp and crab along with rice, cucumber, avocado and sea weed. Not near as bad as I thought it would be. And, the asnuga sauce is so yummy I I may have spelled that weird. Do you eat sushi?

My go-tos are spicy tuna (no roe), spicy lobster (no roe), shrimp tempura, and sweet potato tempura. I also love pepper tuna.

What does 'no roe' mean? I just eat the basics, nothing spicy.

@celticeagle It is fish eggs that are on the outside of the roll

I enjoy all of the above. But I like roe. So crunchy and salty.

I tried it once before I became allergic to fish and didn't like it. I ate a tuna roll and burped fish for three days afterwards.

I've never had one of those. The ones I eat are a collection of salmon, tuna, etc. Avocado, cucumber and wrapped in sea weed. They are pretty good with sesame seeds and drizzled with asnugi sause. (However you say that.)

Yes, I eat sushi but not often. I eat it but I'm not a fan of it.

I see. I'd rather have fish cooked.

@celticeagle For some reason, I am not a big fan of cooked fish. Too dry? I dunno. But I love sushi.

@celticeagle Meh, I am pretty particular about fish. I like salmon steaks and fresh haddock.

No. I'm not a big fish fan as it is; and I wouldn't want to eat it raw. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
