As promised, both of the “old songs” today are “classics,” not “old” (like us ) Let’s go back 40 years to 1986 when this guy was thinner, had hair, and was pretty good looking. A Matter of Trust - Billy Joel Yeah, I like Billy Joel. In fact, I love his music. Sure, he made a clunker or two (cough cough Glass Houses), but very few acts don’t have a bad album in their discography. But, by and large, Billy Joel has a GREAT recorded history. Joel has said that this wasn’t a pleasant album to make, because of tensions between him and his band. But if you get a duet with Ray Charles on the album, it won’t be a total disaster! This was the biggest hit from the album. Another song, “Big Man on Mulberry Street,” was the title of an episode of Moonlighting and was used in the episode. Joel was a fan of the TV series (for you kids, that was when Bruce Willis also had hair ) and asked them to use one of his songs! Oh, and a spoiler: Billy will also be on the 1976 list.
