Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 43 degrees F and raining here at the Jersey Shore. It has been windy here since last night. There is a wind advisory here today from 2pm until 2am. I woke up this morning at about 2:15am. I have no idea why. I was up until about 10pm and took 100mg of trazadone. Instead of fighting it I got up and made myself a cup of peppermint herbal tea. I'm sure I'll fall back asleep eventually. No big plans for the day. I'm going to have acupuncture. It is free so why not? That's about it. I'm not doing anything particular for my birthday. My mother is still in Florida and my sister will be busy getting my niece and nephew's sports practices. It is fine. What's everyone else up to today?

For me, birthdays have lost their importance. I have a big one coming up (80) but I'm not fussed about doing anything special.

Darn today is your birthday? I thought it was tomorrow. Happy birthday! I’m glad you’re trying acupuncture. I wish they did cupping. When I first went to my girl (when I was going), I could tell the cupping really helped. She kind of did a cupping/massage type thing, and that made such a difference.

Good morning. It is 19F in my part of Missouri today. We had high winds and snow yesterday. Luckily, we only got about half an inch total but it did stick. Our high today is supposed to reach 32F. I will be staying inside today. Happy birthday! I hope you find something you want to do to celebrate.

I can't count how many Gale Warnings we've had in the past 6 months. I can't remember ANY year this windy. I'm just waiting for lunch and groceries. I have about 4 hours to lunch. Maybe I'll have a granola bar because I'm hungry. Happy Birthday again!

When the wind calmed down somewhat, I fell asleep on the couch for awhile. I need to make my way back to bed soon. It's snowing lightly outside now. Yesterday it was 68 degrees. Crazy, insane weather! I do hope at some point you can celebrate your birthday with kitties and cake!
