Wooooo these meds are making me wee

After the endoscopy the GI doctor prescribed me 3 different medications. I've been taking them for over a week and man I haven't met a bathroom that I don't like. Normally I hold it and hold it. That is the nature of my job--we get to use the bathroom every 40 minutes in 4 minute increments. If someone else needs to go or already is in there then you're lucky to get like a minute to do your business. I am notorious for not being able to provide a urine sample at the doctor or hospital. It isn't that I don't want to--it is just that I can't. My body will hold it and hold it until finally I can go and inevitably overflow the cup. Well that isn't the case these days. I hit up the bathroom every time I pass one and yup I've got to pee. It isn't huge amounts but the urge is still there. It is fine for now but this isn't going to work once I go back to work. Hopefully my body will adjust over the next month.

Like Jack Nicholson said in As Good As It Gets, “Never pass a bathroom…and never trust a fart.”

As soon as I start to feel the need now, I head to the bathroom. I don't want any accidents.

Surely your body will adjust, like you said. I’ve never been on anything that would interfere with my bladder, but I if I were I’d be paranoid not to be near one.

This sounds like a downside for the moment. I hope your body adjusts.

I have to go about every 2 hours. Mainly because I can no longer hold it but also because they say you will get less UTIs if you go more often. And you know how many UTIs I've had!

@NJChicaa Probably I can imagine that working will be problematic if it doesn't ease off a bit

I have that same problem going to the bathroom during the overnight hours after drinking water before going to bed at night.
