Had a good conversation with my ex tonight

He was stuck late at work and then he had to make a stop on his way home. He called me around 8pm and we talked for almost an hour. He told me about the beer festival he attended. I gave him an update on the paperwork for the leave of absence and disability insurance. We mostly just joked and laughed which we've always been able to do. Now that the conversation is over I can take my night meds and go to sleep. I am exhausted from this morning's 3:30am wakeup. Ugh.

I’m so glad you guys got to chat. It’s always enjoyable (for the most part) to talk to a friend. Hopefully, you get some quality sleep!

Go back to sleep. There’s no acupuncture therapist at work at 3:30 AM. Glad he’s checking on you regularly.
