Pineapple.

I do not like eating pineapple. It makes my tongue burns most of the time. But recently I find it really good when adding in smoothies I make. I bought 6 of them the other day. It's on sale, 3 pieces for a dollar. It's not big but enough to use one for each smoothies I make. Other than the stinging/burning sensation on the tongue when you eat it, pineapple has a lot of fiber, good for digestion and skin, helps in hydration and it has a natural sweetener. Do you like pineapple?

I do like pineapple, and it’s funny as soon as I started reading your discussion my mouth started tingling, like I tasted the tartness. It’s delicious.

I like the juice but very rarely eat pineapple. Pretty likes it, though. Sometimes she'll buy a small can of it and try to make me eat some, too. I don't like the way it burns my mouth and tongue.

Wow is that how you bought it in those bags like that all carved up? I’ve never seen it that before. Looks like so much wasted. I love pineapple and it’s usually pretty inexpensive.

@rakski - It's very common and normal because pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which breaks down proteins in your mouth and causes a burning sensation.

@rakski I used to like it but I experience having a pizza that the pineapple being put is in a bad taste. I don't know what happened but starting that day I start not liking pineapple on the pizza.

I love pineapples, but when I eat pineapples i put salt in it, it becomes sweeter, and acidity is reduced. You should try it with salt

I’m a huge fan of pineapples! I usually prefer them cold. Since you mentioned it, I’ll try to buy one over the weekend.
