My own area had 11 of them. That's just crazy. I never remember this many, this early in March. And in between, we've had continual snow flurries/bursts of snow. It snowed last night, and then it blew around all day. But it was so cold, it didn't stick to the highways so that was a good thing! More snow coming tonight, but tomorrow it warms up and whatever we get will melt again. Very strange and weird weather.
Son had a same-day surgery today, so the day started out very early. We made it home about 5 PM. He is resting.
I went to the pharmacy, and honestly if they got any busier than they are now, or any more inefficient, or whatever their issue is, I think they would have to close. I had to make two trips there. Luckily, it's close to home.
Today was also Primary Voting here in Illinois, so I had to work that in as well. I usually vote ahead of time when they open the polls the week before, but with the crazy weather I never got there. But I did my duty and my voting, so that's done, too.
Other than all of the crazy busy day, for now that's it.

I am always so thankful to see them all out there getting things up and running again and clearing out the damaged trees, etc.

I saw a few crews out working on some trees that suffered damage from Saturday and Sunday's crazy wild winds. It's truly scary what big winds can do.

I have to try to vote. It's just what we should do. After all, if everyone said ''one vote more or less won't matter'' then it WOULD matter. He's not feeling his best tonight but he did eat something and now he is thinking about bedtime. Thanks, Lenore.

Kudos to you for voting anyway. I would have been so wiped out from such a day that I don’t know if I would make it to vote. In fact, the only election I ever missed was the day I got out of the hospital. I had been in the ER all night, and I couldn’t fathom standing in line to vote.

I've always made a point to vote if at all possible. My kids say Mom would be sure to vote even if she had to crawl, but honestly I am not that bad!
I may well have felt differently if I were the one not feeling well, I do understand why you didn't feel like voting.

It was downright scary. They had two meteorologists on with two maps on side by side, to try to keep up as so many were popping up at once. I don't think I have ever heard of us having that many in one day.
