Have you lost something lately you really need?

I sleep with a dentist made mouth guard because I grind my teeth so badly I will chip them without one. For the last three days I’ve slept without it because I can’t find it. I had briefly taken it out, and was planning to go back to sleep so I didn’t put it in my bathroom where I usually put it in a case. By the time I remembered it, hours had gone by, and I couldn’t find it. No, I don’t think Sadie (my dog) got a hold of it, but I was hoping she’d find it. I don’t mind having to wash it off since I do that anyway. I care about chipping teeth. Hopefully, I’ll find it soon. Have you lost something lately you really need?

Hope you find it soon. I haven't lost anything recently. I remember misplacing my eye glasses and I searched for it for one week only to find it in the living room.

Oh dear. That is quite a serious loss. I'm guessing it won't be cheap to replace.

It won’t be cheap, no, but I was going to have to get a new one in the coming months because I’m getting a new bridge and a crown. After that, the old one will not fit. So really my biggest problem is keeping them from chipping in the next two months. If I weren’t getting a new one already, I would be sick to my stomach about it.

@AmbiePam Perhaps the old one will turn up in the interim.

I lost some little scissors, but fortunately I had a replacement Good luck with finding the mouth guard. My first husband used to have one..and one time we were at a donut store..and he had put it on a tray, long story, we weren't at home. Anyway, it got dumped in the d=trash, and we were rooting through it, and that is where we found it.

That is concerning, I hope you can find it soon. I cannot find a USB stick where I saved some photos.

@ambiepam Those first 5 words of yours made me do a double take but then I read further and calmed down. I’ve recently lost a crown. I know where it is, but I’m managing fine without it so I’m in no hurry to pay a dentist to stick it back in again.

We went through that not long ago with son’s glasses. Looked everywhere but he had just been here so we knew that they had to be here. Finally I went to his room, which is small, and basically divided it in 4 sections and stated getting intense and serious. The rims are black and they were down by the metal parts of the bed rail and we couldn’t see them. He fell asleep with them on and evidently they slid down there. He was so happy to know they weren’t smashed. I hope you find your mouth guard!

Thanks, Marie! People with decent incomes can just replace these things, but for people like us, it’s vital to find them.

I always lost my ballpen because someone always took it without realizing. Some of the ballpen return safely, some it has been pass from one person to another.
