How long have you known them?

I speak of my friend Jane, whom I have known for 43 or so years. I will have coffee with her Saturday. Today I had brunch with Beth.
I have not seen her in thirty years. She has moved around some. We have known each other for fifty years. It was good to catch up.
I think we need to hold on to friends as long and strongly as we can. It helps when we are going through tough times.
Her husband is also ill. Not as ill, in some ways, as Bob. Or at least not as confused.
Bob had a rough night last night. Had a fever, or had his heated bed too hot, anyway, it was not easy. I am tired from that as well.
I will go to bed very soon, and stay home tomorrow.

I'm sorry Bob is having difficulties and hope he's doing better quickly. Have a good rest.
I was running a fever yesterday and throwing up during the night. I feel much better today.

Susan is my longest time friend that I still have contact with. 30 years. Nancy is my best friend now that I've known for 20 years.

Wow, I can't imagine what it's like to know someone that long, I've only known 1 friend for about 40 years but she's been in NE for about 39 so it's not like I really know her anymore but we keep in touch.
