Are you nuts about nuts?

Vince brought home these packets of nuts. They were given to him on Batik airlines. One is Spicy Salted Caramel and the other Cacao Cinnamon. It’s funny how ‘salted caramel’ has become flavour of the year and turns up everywhere. And to pad this out a bit: Vince’s brother travelled 500 kilometres to join a boat cruise hoping to see orcas (killer whales). We’ve just heard that one woman became so seasick they’ve had to return to port after only going about halfway. The passengers have been given passes to take the cruise within the next three years. I feel sorry for the woman and hope she’ll be okay but it’s still very disappointing for the other passengers.

I am so sorry they had to return to port because of the sick woman. I imagine the poor woman was really sick. I love nuts, particularly almond, hazelnuts and walnuts, but PLAIN!

Not much nuts about nuts. Great that they got passes but it surely is disappointing to turn back halfway.

I’m actually surprised they turned around for her. How does a person not know and/or prepare for being seasick?

I do love nuts. That reminds me of the whale watching excursion I was on with friend. He wss the only one on the boat who was seasick and spent the whole time below.and was. Throwing up oeriodically.

Over here what we have more common is groundnuts and am super crazy about them. They are sweet with certain biscuits, sweet with bread or roasted plantains
