I always eat lunch for breakfast. I will occasionally treat myself to egg whites and hash browns or, even more rarely, oatmeal. (I had some left from my Covid bout in January, and it turned out that I didn’t need “bland” food this time around).

Well, I love me some French Toast, but my favorite breakfast is a Western omelette (cheddar cheese, ham, bell peppers, and onions). Add a little hot sauce on the side, and the breakfast is perfect! And darn it, I just made myself really hungry.

Eggs are a good meal when you don't feel like cooking much. I love scrambled eggs with whatever fresh stuff I have--bell peppers, onions, celery, broccoli, etc. I'm not a hot sauce girl, since I am allergic to hot peppers, but I have been known to get out the mild salsa!

I rarely eat breakfast. I only do so when I have to travel early and lunch will be very late. My usual breakfast consists of rice and corned beef.

It used to be French Toast, but now I'm allergic to eggs and I can't eat it anymore.
Every morning I drink a protein shake.

Can you give egg substitute ? Or would you rather just do without ?

@Traceyjayne Oh it never occurred to me to try egg substitute. I mostly eat out so they would use real eggs, but if I wanted to make my own at home I could do that. Thanks for the idea.

I like to fry bread and egg together then slurp a little honey over that for breakfast. I mostly just warm supper leftovers, though. This morning breakfast was couscous.

Sometimes I just can't work breakfast into the morning time. But most of the time I can. It depends on how hungry I actually am and what I am in the mood for. My favorites are old-fashioned oats, scrambled eggs and rye toast, toast with peanut butter and sometimes homemade jam, and sometimes just homemade jam. Like I said, it depends on the mood and time.
