Val Kilmer - not just an actor

First some backstory. I’m not really into films and don’t recognise too many actors and know less about even more, if that makes sense. Each morning, after I’ve done Wordle on my phone, I do the Connections puzzle. The aim is to find the connections between four sets of four words. Sometimes I look up the hints page if I get stuck. One hint was ‘American poets’. I recognised Frost and Pound but that was it. So I googled American poets and one of the names on the list was Val Kilmer. I clicked on the name and discovered that it was THE Val Kilmer, more known no doubt for his acting. I discovered that Kilmer was extremely creative and had a very diverse career. As well as acting in films and the theatre, he also held several art exhibitions and published two books of poetry. So sad that his life was cut short by cancer. The photo, courtesy of Team at Carnaval.com Studios shows Kilmer as King of the Bacchus Parade, New Orleans.

I didn't know that. I will put it in the category of learning something new everyday.

I had no idea he was that talented, I knew he was an actor though. So many actors surprise me, many of them do so much more than just act.

He acted really well in the movie Tombstone - along with Kurt Russel and Sam Elliot.

In a connection puzzle there's some certain words, person, you've learned a lot because you started to get curious. Even rediscover what have been forgotten.
