Hello everyone! I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.
Yesterday, I was not here on Mylot. I went with my best friend to another city to see the archeological park in Xanten. I have been there 30 years ago that I was surprise that we have to pay 11€ for the entrance. There’s only ruins inside that I and my friend have seen already ages ago.
We didn’t go inside, instead we just roam around outside the park and the historical city of Xanten. We went to the cathedral and the museum and after that, we ate in an Italian restaurant. The food was delicious.
When I came home, I watched the Chinese drama Pursuit of Jade. It’s a good historical drama with an amazing plot, landscapes, actors and actresses as well. I am crazy about this drama that I can’t wait to see the next episodes.
This morning, my husband told me that he was chatting with my cousin from Ireland last night. My cousin asked him if I was near him. My hubby told her that I was in China

My cousin understood what he meant.
Do you watch a drama you are crazy about watching?
Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. My iPad is low-bat now that I have to charge it. See you later.

I haven’t tried Chinese dramas yet. I’m currently into Korean dramas. Haha

I also like historical dramas.
Me and my family are also watching a religious fantasy series.
One issue I have is if the plot is dragged too much then interest becomes less.
Never heard of Xanten.
May be you can share more about this place in some of your posts.
Overall, my bias is still for Movies rather than series.

What a shame that they now charge for entrance to that park. At least you already know what is in there.
I wish I could understand the language of some of those Chinese movies, or TV series. Some have English subtitles but I have to pause to read those and it ruins the show for me so I stopped trying. I love the costumes the actors wear and I wish I could put on makeup the way they do because then I might be able to make people believe I am very much younger than I am

Yes, it was a shame @rebelann. In the 80s and 90s it was still free.
I have to read the undertitle when watching Korean or Chinese drama as I don’t know their language. I noticed that I seldom pause the tv as I can read fast.
I think I am really good at multitasking and learning new languages. I can understand sometimes what they are talking without reading the undertitle.
Thanks and have a nice day.

I'm glad you had a good time. I usually like comedies or something unusual like Lost.

Sounds like you still enjoyed wandering around and seeing city sights. Italian restaurants can make for a great meal.
I watched a doc on Queen Victoria of England on Netflix. Very good with some drama involved.

Yes, I enjoyed wandering around in some interesting places. Italian food is delicious.
I have not watch Queen Victoria of England yet but I have read many books about her. An interesting life story about her and how she loved her husband Albert.
Thanks @dgobucks226

Yes I have a few series I've been watching and at the end of one in particular and will be sorry when it's over.

I have not finished some of the dramas that I have started to watch because it didn’t hook me. The ones that I have finished have really good plots, good stories, great actors and actresses and made me binged watched. I even have completed the 50+ episodes of the King’s Woman. The story was about the first emperor of China who built the Terracotta soldiers in China.
Thank you @Jehanne. Enjoy your Holy Week.
