Artistic food
It tastes quite good
Scampi , tomatoes and waffles
Quick to prepare
In the frier of air
Tomatoes cut by Yvonne's fair hand
I was worried about her, the knife is deadly sharp for precision slicing
I don't think I had ever had Scampi before and really not sure what was under the bread crumb coating
Do you like Scampi?

@Ineeddentures - I am pretty sure you are right, it's just like the "crab sticks". No crab in them.

Aye.
These were far too cheap to have anything real about them

Did you make a scampi? Like you had shrimp and put the coatings on? Or were they frozen? My kid would want scampi..

I'm not really fond of fish but your plate does have an artistic flair to it. Hope it was as good as it looks.
I would just replace those shrimps
with chicken nuggets

Scampi is a crustacean-based seafood dish, langoustine, (the French name of a certain lobster which gives the dish its name), as well as shrimp or prawns, depending on region
But I ratherndoubt these have any lobster in them at all

@Ineeddentures a lobster is pricey in our country
we often had shrimp or prawns.
Now I'm able to see your photo that hadn't show up earlier. Maybe there's a lobster inside but not the whole lobster
a few meat of it. A minced lobster meat then Yvonne coated it with bread crumps.
Tempura is more common and I'm familiar. Prawn coated in a light batter then deep fry.
