The plan this morning.

OK, guys, I’m finally going to the ER. First, I have a doctor appointment with my pain management doctor this morning at 11:30am. He can’t help me with my current problem so right after that I’ll go to the ER to find out why I literally can’t go but three steps without bending over to stop the dizziness. If you remember this happened before, but it was low magnesium. The thing is, since then I’ve faithfully taken 500mg of Magnesium as ordered every day. This shouldn’t be happening. So I think once again, this will be low magnesium. The question is why. Will they keep me until they figure it out? I doubt it. I believe like last time they will give me an IV of magnesium and then send me home to see my primary care for further testing.
But I did see my primary care Monday, so as soon as she gets the results of the blood tests (isn’t it nice how ER lab results come in way faster?) she’ll either do more tests or refer to me to whichever doctor it is that handles this kind of thing.
Ugh, just talking about this makes me tired. But I’m also sick of huffing and puffing after just walking to the kitchen sink. So I’m ready to get this done. I’ll keep you guys updated.

I got up at my 5 a.m. usual, then sat in my chair and slept until 6. I was up eating my breakfast and Bob got up so I had him eat and take his meds. He has had the double heart medicine now for two doses and has eliminated the furosemide for one dose. He has been up most of today!!. He has eaten two meals. I went to work and he got up and ate with me for lunch. Now I am going to make supper. Let us know what you find out.

Watered the plants this morning, got my things together to take to work with me and church, church tonight, then home to sleep, all the while saying prayers for you.

If it isn't the magnesium they will have to do further testing of course. Will your friend watch your dog if you have to be in there a few days? I think it is important to get to the root of the problem so you don't keep having recurrances Good luck!

I really hope they can find out what is causing your dizziness. At first I thought it would be an inner ear infection or maybe even vertigo but since it keeps happening I hope they find the answer for you.

I was out and about this morning, but the change in weather was driving me made so I came home ….catching up on some tv now.
