Happy Thursday Everyone! it's a nice springlike day here today. The sun is shining and it's on the warm side. It's only going to last one day because tomorrow we're back to chilly temperatures.
I'm so excited for my cousin (the sister of the one who visited me on Monday). She and her hubby became grandparents for the first time. Baby Kiley was born on Tuesday (a week early) and weighed in over 7 lbs. Mom and baby are doing great.
Last night they sent out a group text with pictures of the baby and how excited they are.
I'll be putting aside my current crocheting project and will work on a pretty pink baby blanket. I hope I can figure out a way to personalize it with the babys name but I've never done it before so that will be a challenge.
I love baby things and would like to make them a nice gift box and send it to them.
Other than that exciting family news my day is pretty routine but it's nice that every morning this week I've had something to smile about.

A first time grand baby is a big deal! One memory I’m glad to have is when we first got Amyra, my mom had started going downhill, but she knew she was a grandmother, and I remember her getting in a church van full of members and declaring she was a new one.
I know whatever you crochet is undoubtedly going to look great!

My cousin is so excited to have her first grandchild. She has no idea the wonderful days ahead . Since my grandkids are all big now it's nice to have a new baby in the family
