A Free Facelift

So I do a lot of surveys, and some of these surveys lead to product tests which leads to more money. I recently agreed to product test a nighttime facial moisturizer. They said it tightens the skin, and makes it firmer. I don’t have a problem with that so I wasn’t sure I’d even notice a difference. Oh, my word. I used it once, and I felt like I had to exert effort to open my mouth. It was comical! I’m telling you, my face felt like someone had grabbed my skin and pulled it all back. It was such a weird feeling. I have to keep using it for a few more weeks so I guess I’ll get used to the feeling. What’s the funniest way a product has affected you? Because I feel like I got a free facelift.

I am not sure I would like my skin to feel that tight? Question for you, when you test skin care products, do you have access to the ingredients in them?

Yes, apparently legally they have to tell you, and they do.

@AmbiePam That would be my main concern, I am glad they have to tell you what is in the products.

I avoid testing skin care products. Especially those I don't know the content. One doctor told me that when we take in medicine, we have our kidneys to filter the toxins. But when we apply something on our skin, nothing filters it. It penetrates into the body and do harm, so we should better be careful wheat we apply on our skin.

@AmbiePam Good. It's good to know what's safe and what isn't that we apply on our skin.

I used to be on a food manufacturing panel. They once sent out like 12 kinds of popcorn..strange flavors like chocolate marshmallow, key lime, cotton candy, jalapeno something..It was a lot of fun to try all the flavors. A facelift cream sounds grand... Enjoy

@AmbiePam They were all pretty tasty honestly, but they only put the boring stuff on the shelves..How weird.

That sounds nice, and as a product that you tested, even better.

Do you think it's improving your skin? Too soon to tell yet I guess.
