I order this from the village group chat.
It's a gc dedicated for selling stuff, mostly food.
I ordered fish ball, squid and chicken balls. I'm not sure if you're familiar with these. But these are some common street food here. There is an option of a sweet or spicy sauce.
Then I made me and daughter ice scramble. It is a street food dessert made from shaved ice, milk, sugar and some flavoring.
What's the famous street food where you are?

Here in the US, it's usually hot dogs, gyros, soft pretzels, tacos, and ice cream.

You have street food in your part of the US? They aren't allowed here because of sanitation reasons. (Street vendors are subject to the same laws and regulations that a restaurant must follow.)

@AliCanary I see... We had those at some of the jobs I've had at different times but they never interested me. I'm too much of a germaphobe to be interested in food from a truck/cart.

@DaddyEvil in Philadelphia, we had actual carts. Here in NC, we have food trucks, but same concept, basically. They have to have somewhere to be, though; they can't just park on the street. So businesses--especially pubs--that don't serve food will let them park in their lot, so it's basically a win-win.

The only street food that I ever see is a food truck named Donut Diva.
I have not tried them, they don't seem like anything that I would like.
Outside of all of our Canadian Tire stores, they have a barbeque hut where they make hotdogs and sausages.
They smell amazing, and we've tried, and enjoy the occasional hotdog from there.
We only indulge about once every couple of years if we are out and in a hurry.

I might try the chicken balls, if I could be sure the vendor washed all utensils and hands and sanitized them before making the food and serving it to me. I am allergic to seafoods.

I actually have same issues as you.
This one is made by the neighborhood seller which is much better than the vendors outside. The food sellers/handlers in our village was subjected to get sanitary permit as well. I don’t usually buy from the food cart easily. There are some foodstore at our malls who sells food which is better than the foodcart vendors
