Thanks to the actions of a driver who stopped his or her auto on Thursday evening near the Laguna Miguel Shopping Center in Orange County California when a mom duck was asking anyone for help since eight of her ducklings were inside of a storm drain. The driver was able to contact the Orange County Fire Authority who a crew of firefighters who were able to rescue the eight ducklings out of the storm drain and reunite them with their mother duck. Thank goodness that no ducks suffered any injuries during the rescue mission. Link is ktla.com/news/orange-co...

Negligent duck mom, but glad they are out and she got them back. I hope she's more careful walking around with them.

I like small ducks as well even though I would never have one as a pet.

@Deepizzaguy actually, my grandma raised them and then she used them as food, as most people in the countryside are doing

I am glad that most drivers do stop or slow and try to help animals that are having trouble.

Maybe, they got washed into there with heavy rains, and the mother duck would have been quacking up a storm to get the attention of anyone that could help her get back her babies.

Most likely that the ducklings were taken to the storm drain via heavy rains.
