Just enough time to post this before the taxi arrives to take us to the pub
My pre pub snack
Rump Steak, big and juicy
Mushrooms and Onions
And of course chips
The ladies had Scampi and Chips
Bigger Steak than last night
And I found my Beefeater Plate to serve it on
Excellent if I sat so myself
Can't wait for the first pint of Beer
Should be back around 2am UK time

@Ineeddentures - It happens, I try to portion everything before freezing so I do not have to make the same meal twice.

Yvonne took one too many out of the freezer so I had to use it

I must start buying the whole joint and it not cut into steals already.
That way I could cut steaks, all the same weight, and individually wrap and freeze them

Not at after 9pm on a bank holiday
Most pubs stop serving food at about 8pm
I wouldn't buy food in a pub here anyway
Too expensive, and not exactly tasty either

I chop them thick
They take a bit longer to deep fry but well worth the wait.
And I use lard to fry them in
