Friend has gone to gas station to fill up a gas can for me. I didn't do it, on my way back from town on Thursday, and was concerned about what was in the tank. Friend can be very sweet. Too bad he is so annoying. Anyway, good to be home,, and just planning to chill out today. That is a major trip driving back down here in one day. What will you be doing today?

I’m definitely cleaning, and also organizing. I recently got a lot of things to review, and there is way too many things piling up. Other than that, I’ll be catching up on my surveys, also probably sleeping. Even if I’m not lying down, I still fall asleep.

@AmbiePam He is disabled now...hopefully not permanently, but they had to build a ramp at his parent's home.

@DianneN I will go on a hunt for corned beef tomorrow. I know I have carrots, and onions of course..most of those recipes seem to call for bacon too.

@snowy22315 We have to eat up the contents of our fridge and freezer before we go north. I forgot that I used my carrots for the stew I made for my granddaughter and brother the day she arrived, so I will make potatoes, onions, and cabbage in a separate pot. I’m sure whatever you make will be delicious.

He practically acted like he didn't realize we were gone. He came to the door and hung around for a bit, but his behavior wasn't much different than normal.

Glad you're home and I can believe that it's a long trip to do in one day. My grandson just moved to Pittsburg and it's a 5 hr drive from here., At least "friend" isn't annoying all the time

I had to get gas yesterday...I dreaded it, I still have sticker shock from that. Good grief!!
