Today someone is coming to do maintenance on my standby generator. It's expensive; but I want to make sure I have AC this summer. I have a feeling that it's going to be a scorcher of a summer and filled with strong storms..
With the cease-fire deal, oil prices have dropped below $100. I wonder if we will see the difference at the pumps?
Breakfast - Low salt nuts
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Hamburger, potato wedges, baked beans, fruit cocktail
Dessert/Snack - Nuts
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, potato poppables, cherries
What did you eat yesterday?

Yes, if we get some strong storms and the power goes out, I want to make sure I still have my AC.

@LindaOHio A couple of years ago my air conditioner was broken for 16 days in May. Oklahoma gets hot in April. By the third day the air was broken, I would wake up in the middle of the night and pour rivulets of bottled water over my head. So I completely understand.

Gas prices here jumped yesterday just before closing at the local stations. It went from $3.27 to $3.50. I still have 3/4 of a tank and don't want to pay higher prices.
I ate a red plum and an apple for breakfast, ate a bowl of rotini noodles with ground beef for lunch and had a grilled Cheddar cheese on sourdough bread for supper last night.

@LindaOHio I hope so, too, even if Pretty is the one paying for the gas now.

Definitely need that AC working in the summer. I hope it is not a scorcher.

Hubby and I have contracted two home repair/remodel deals this Spring. One is for installation of plantation shutters throughout the house. That was roughly $4500. Then we've also agreed to have our garage floor recoated and repaired and cleaned with polyurea coating and that was roughly $3,000. That's a lot for us - $7500 but they're both permanent lifetime things that'll never have to be done again. And we needed the upgrades after 12 years here. But we HATE spending money.

We will need to fill up tomorrow when we head south. I'm wondering what price we'll need to pay.
