Hearing Voices....Someone Keeps Calling My Name

Happy Wednesday Everyone! sunny but cold here today. Freezing overnight and it feels like winter is back. Brrrr
I thought I was going crazy and hearing voices calling my name. Has this ever happened to you?
Didn't take long to find out it was Amazon and it was my cart calling my name 
Amazon doesn't let anything sit in my cart without harassing me to buy it. They use tactics such as "we found something you might like", "did you forget such and such an item in your cart", and the old worn out one of "your cart is calling your name".
Sometimes it's something I really want but the price is high but today it's not anything exciting. Amazon is bugging me to buy Mr. Clean Magic Erasers 
I don't even remember putting them in my cart which goes to show how often I use them.
Now that I solved the mystery of who was calling my name I can get on with my day

My Amazon cart is constantly telling me that my cart has plenty of stuff in it that I probably need. Right now I think it averages about 540 items ! I browse on Amazon and put stuff in my cart that when I win the lottery I might want to buy.

@Marilynda1225 I put 2 things in it today, but haven’t placed my order. Silly Alexa sends everything up north unless I physically change the delivery address. Can’t trust her for a minute!

No, I’ve not heard any voices calling my name, but if I ever do, I intend to surrender to them.
It is beautiful out today. I went to the doctor (no news yet), then went over to my dad’s. I hadn’t seen him in about two weeks. I was glad to be able to give him a hug.

Glad you have a nice day there today and got out of the house. I'm sure your dad loved being hugged by you as much as you love hugging him. Those hugs really are special.
My day got sidetracked by a friend who needed my ear(s) to listen to her ongoing family drama. I feel bad for her and I'm always glad when I hang up that I don't have all that family stress to deal with.

At our last house, I thought Pretty was always calling my name every time she'd run water somewhere in the house. I went to see an audiologist and he said the regular cadence of water running in a sink or tub could trick my brain into hearing someone calling me. At least that doesn't happen here. It used to drive Pretty crazy when I yell, "Yeah, what do you want or what do you need." She'd yell back "I'm just running water in the kitchen or bathroom. I didn't call your name!"

Glad you aren't experiencing that in this house as it must have been not only annoying but weird in a way,
Your temperature sounds lovely today. We didn't even hit 50 today and it's going to be around freezing overnight again. My heat is back on

It must be your turn for Amazon to call your name today ....it was my turn yesterday....I ordered the new Pinch of Nom book ....not sure if that's a thing where you are ...it's a cookbook/ slimming recipes book.
I tend to add things to a list instead of putting them in the cart ...that way Amazon doesn't hassle me too much . Ha ha

I have stuff in my cart that I'll probably never buy. It's more of a someday, maybe cart I probably should just make a list with the price and then go back and look to see if the price got higher or lower since the last time I looked. Lately Amazon prices have really jumped up and every day the prices could be different,

@Marilynda1225 yeah, that's a good point about the price changes. I use vouchers from my receipt apps but I still want value for money !

I keep my computer on mute, so I never hear anything.
I buy my erasers, the clorox ones, at the dollar store, they are bigger in side and I cut them in half and then they are just the right size. They are nice for cleaning the floor on in the shower best of all that they do a good job on.

The only voices I have ever heard have been shispers in my ear from someone thinking of me who has passed away. Glad you solved your problem. I had this rainy weather in the 60s and a crazy wind that is making me anxious,
