My husband starts work late and finishes late for the whole week. So we have time until noon to do something together in the morning. So we have been grabbing coffee at a Cafe Nero chain near us. I love this little routine. The walk towards the coffee shop is a little exercise and a way to get more sunshine and Vitamin D. What I love most about it is the opportunity to spend quality time with my husband. Today I had a matcha latte and he got his usual espresso. And the random dessert is an apricot based pastry.

It makes me feel less isolated. I do miss my friends in Bath.

@DaddyEvil I am not. The neighbours are nice but not quite the same I feel like an outsider who needs to be on tiptoes.

@flapiz It's always hard to move. You invariably leave friends behind. But, I'm sure you're making new friends in the new location.

Wow here's the girl with my favourite ever profile picture. You haven't changed a bit. Are you still in England and still a nurse?

Hello Jimbo. Thanks for the flattery. You made me smile. Yes I still live in England. Moved to London but still own a house in Bath. How are you?

@flapiz - I also love apricots, I always have apricot jam in the refrigerator to have with toasted bread in the morning.

@LadyDuck I am more of a strawberry gal. But I think that’s because apricots are quite rare to non existent in the Philippines. I am leaning to get acquainted with the taste.

That’s a lovely way to start the day. My husband loves apricots and definitely would have chosen that apricot pastry. The cappuccino would be perfect for me!
