Final day for fake summer

I hope you can see the flowers. A couple of years ago hubby made a wooden garden box and set it at the end of the perennial geraniums. Gardening buddy then planted flowers there and I stuck a parrot tulip in. And wow!! I never thought I'd have this lovely display of flowers in April. Amazing. I dug a hole and planted a new flower today. Otherwise I have been not doing much. I did make a batch of ginger cookies, though. I made the dough and it waits for me as it cools in the fridge. I haven't gotten farther than that.

They look great! It's raining again here and my corn, green beans and sunflowers are starting to poke through.

@TheHorse It looks like cooler temps and rain clouds will be moving in this coming week. The mountain snow pack is below par from what I read.

That little display is SOOO pretty. I hope to have something like that this spring. It's just about cool enough to think about planting things now.

@JudyEv I hope your growing time is wonderful. Silly me. There's a fig tree stub near this flower box. The stub is just starting to have a leaf on top. I talk to the stub as I walk by it- telling it "good job!" Growing figs in my area is not usual.
