Smoothie anyone?

This is the last smoothie I have made from my smoothie maker yesterday before it stopped functioning. I made rot beet smoothie with pineapple chunks, Greek youghurt and coconut milk. It was the first time I added coconut milk from Barrista in my smoothie. It was really delicious. I have to buy a new smoothie maker this afternoon as this machine is the most kitchen appliances that I use. Do you make smoothie at home? What fruits and liquid do you put in your smoothie maker? It’s Friday again! Another week passed by. Anyway, enjoy your day everyone. Thanks for your interaction.

I do not make smoothies at home, we both do not like smoothies. I make milk shakes time by time, strawberry or banana.

@DianneN I like to "chew" the fruits and not to drink them.

@DianneN I always also drink water, surely not as much as I should, but I try.

I used to make smoothies a lot. I’d add some broccoli or spinach in my smoothie too because it was really healthy, but you couldn’t taste it all due to the sweetness of the fruit I would also put in the smoothie. I used coconut milk too.

@thelme55 If you put in fruit, you can’t taste the vegetables.

Thanks @AmbiePam. I have not tried broccoli or spinach in my smoothie. How does it taste? I only do it with fruits.

@AmbiePam I see. I have to try that. Do you cook the broccoli first?

Yes, I do. I like strawberry-banana with yogurt. I also like pineapple-apple-cucumber-carrots smoothie. It's so good and refreshing

@rakski That’s good. I have not tried it with Yakut as I am lactose intolerant.

Sorry it broke down. I don’t care for smoothies. I prefer the oral satisfaction I get from chewing my fruit. When are you leaving for Ireland?

It’s okay @DianneN. I have bought a new one. I prefer also chewing the fruits but I make the smoothie for my hubby and so I just drink, too. Next month.

Too bad it broke down since you clearly love your smoothies. They are not something I make at home or have when I am out. They do look delicious though. Hope you can get a new machine soon.

I have bought a new smoothie maker. My husband is not fond of eating fruits and so smoothie is the right way for him to at least drink the fruits Thank you @Traceyjayne. Have a nice day.

I want to learn how to make smoothies. I really love fruits but sometimes I feel lazy to eat them so I want to make something different with them so it'll taste better and it's more fun to eat or drink.

Thank you. You have to buy a smoothie maker @Yadah04. You just have to put fruits, yoghurt or milk in that machine.

I made mango smoothie today with berries. The mango here is not as delicious as our Filipino mango but at least the wild berries and other fruits are yummy. Thanks @toniganzon.

I can drink smoothies but I really don't like them very much. Pretty also has a smoothie maker in our kitchen. She makes them all the time. I know she has frozen bananas and frozen strawberries in our little freezer so they're handy when she wants to make one. I don't know what else she puts in them. We have different juices and almond milk in the fridge, too.

I don't make smoothies anymore. My boyfriend had given me a recipe for a strawberry banana smoothie. He also got me blender. When I would make the smoothie, it didn't turn out as good as he makes them so I quit making them.

I see. I don’t like banana in my smoothie. I prefer the berries, pineapples and avocados in my smoothie. Thank you @JESSY3236. Have a nice day.

I'd like one! It's a great way to cool down in this heat. Almost any fruit would do for me. I even add veggies lol.

I don't make smoothies but I might start soon. I have to go on a liquid diet for a week then a soft diet and smoothies would be a healthy choice of food.
