A deer is taking a rest right behind my house

I can not take a pic with phone, as the camera in this is not that great..but he is only about 5 yards off the deck. One time I had one sleep overnight in my side yard. Although I don't think deer sleep too long. I think they just rest for awhile and up and at em. Some times these deer pop up when you least expect them.

Well, right now..he is in a clearing behind the house..where the bird bath is..and there s a bird feeder back there too, but has no seed in it currently. When I get up to get some more coffee I will check to see if he is still there.

@sallypup The deer here aren't super afraid of people in the yard, but they would draw the line at cars in the driveway.

@snowy22315 The last time we visited our friends 3 relaxed deer ate grass as I drove up their driveway.

@snowy22315 Understandable, batteries do not last forever, and it is wise to remove them so that they do not leak in between uses. I hope that you enjoyed Mr Deer's visit.

That's like our kangaroos. I don't think they sleep too long at a time either.

@snowy22315 Yes. It's okay but quite 'strong' and gamey. It's never really taken off in stores.

They like to take rests during the day especially if it is hot.

So cute! I love seeing deer. I have a possum visiting me at night, One came last night and I was up to go to the bathroom and felt groggy. I looked out my front door and there was this little possum so cute. I got out a sausage and opened the door. He was on the threshold; he took it right in his mouth and then walked back to eat it.

Cousin #2 had deer in the back of her yard all the time. She used to feed them. Too bad you can't post a pic.
