Random Thoughts On A Sunny Saturday

Happy Saturday Everyone! it's sunny here today but the temperatures aren't quite as warm as the last few days. Looks like we're heading for another roller coaster ride with some days next week going down overnight as low as freezing.
My daughter just went out to pick up her prescriptions and do a few quick errands so I figured I'd pop on here and say hi.
We got a notice that our community spring yard sale is May 2 so if I can continue working on my spring cleaning I might actually have some things that could bring in some $$
Since the Purple Heart didn't come on Thursday to pick up our donations I might reconsider some of the things I was going to donate and see if they would sell at the yard sale. If not, then I can always donate them. Seems like a win win. Maybe it was a stroke of luck that our donations didn't get picked up.
Our Walmart grocery delivery came early. Neither my daughter nor I felt like going to do a pick-up so we decided on delivery and got to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and coffee,
Nothing planned for the day but sometimes days without plans turn out the best.

Hopefully you will do well at the yard sale. I used to enjoy going to yard sales back when I was still driving. There were plenty of them all over on a Saturday.

That would be great if you could make some money. I still wish I could have a garage sale, but my dad is pretty adamant that we will again have one. I’m pretty.sure is the 29 years he’s lived there, we only had one garage sale! Apparently, that was all he could take.

Making money from stuff you don't want anymore is always nice but Pretty and I don't want to do anymore yard sales. We did two at the last house and both of us got sunburned and got tired of people trying to talk our prices down. If they didn't want to buy stuff, they should have gone looking at Walmart.
Nothing happening here today. We had cold storms last night that dropped the temps from the mid-70s to mid-50s for a high today. Pretty hasn't turned the heat back on in the house so it's 69F instead of 74F in here right now. I'm comfortable but she won't be when she wakes up.

Happy Saturday to you! I think luck was on your side by not picking up your donations. Hopefully, you’ll make some extra money and what doesn’t sell, there’s always donations. I love Instacart when I’m lazy or too busy.

There are 2 of us who borrowed your post title today, it made me smile so I hope that we see others join in.
I would do an online search to see what items are popular at yard sales, and then you will have a better idea how to price things.
Today is travel day.
Ron and our son and his family left in the middle of the night for the airport. The babies were so excited, and they remained that way even after their short flight to Toronto, I am sure that they will crash on the 5 plus hour ride to the west coast. I hope that I can relax and do just as well on my flight tomorrow. My cab is booked to arrive in a little less than 3 hours.
