I'm experiencing this back pain since yesterday afternoon. It's not lower back pain but upper back pain. It seems that I'm carrying a heavy load backpack in my back. I stretched it last night. Hubby massaged it last night and I put on some liniment. Still the same as of this morning. I took one pain relieve now. Hoping it take effect soon.

I really hate back pain. It hits so hard at times and hard to make it go away. Hopefully you will feel better very soon.

@MarieCoyle And despite the pain, I was able to iron my daughter's uniform. Good thing the pain reliever is somehow effective

@rakski I know how that can be. If I overdo it, I often pay for it with back pain.

That sounds more like muscle strain. For a strained muscles, you use a heating pad for 15 minutes every couple of hours and take pain medication. Keep active as activity will help work the pain out of your muscles. I hope you feel better soon.

@rakski You might try wrapping some ice in a towel or wash cloth and using that over the sore area. It won't help as much as a heating pad but it should take some soreness out.

I think maybe it is. But heating pad does not sound good on a summer day though I know it helps relieve pain. Speaking of that, I have to buy one

I hope you feel better soon. As you know, my back pain means I can no longer stand up at music gigs. It's frustrating.

Do you have a heating pad? Sometimes that helps me. I’m so sorry you’re in pain.

I guess it needs to put hot moist pack on your upper back. I assumed that you are having muscle spasm.
