My Amazon account has been hacked …..

I just tried to get into my Amazon account to place an order and I couldn’t log in …..usually, it comes up straight away.
Now I see my email address has been changed …it’s now something quite peculiar……
I can only think it’s been hacked.
Luckily for me there was only a few pounds in the account but tomorrow I will have to contact them and get it sorted out .
What a pain !

That's really terrible.
Several years ago, a celebrity, a crowned Miss Universe, sent me a DM on twitter informing me that my account might have been hacked coz I had been sending spam to her through DM. It was very kind of her to inform me. And indeed it was so I changed my password right away.

I have emailed them but have to wait till tomorrow to try and speak to someone. As I can’t sign in I can’t go on live chat ….. im just pleased there was only a few pounds in the account . It makes me wonder if they have hacked anything else !
