When that happens I have looked up the number before...sometimes you can find the owner of the number by googling it. But I would definitely block them. That's ridiculous.

You know it's not me. I don't have an iPhoney and don't call people that late or early. You know how to block the numbers, right? Open the Phone app on you iPhone. ... Tap on the "i" icon next to the caller's name or number. ... Once you tap into the caller's details, scroll down and tap "Block this Caller." Tap "Block this number."

I'm really not sure who would do this. I definitely don't. I tend not to answer numbers that I don't know or recognize.

It’s good you didn’t pick up. Sometimes it can be spam or scam calls using FaceTime, but the timing does make it feel more intrusive. Has this happened to you before, or is this the first time you’re getting calls like this?

Yeah, that's kind of weird. Who does that? Nobody FaceTime me during the wee hours.

That's so late. If they don't even introduce by chatting. They will be ignored or in a block list

@AmbiePam I know it's too late to be bothering with it, but I'd take the opportunity to have a bit of fun with it. I used to get late night calls from inebriated people who misdialled - my number was similar to a taxi place. They'd order taxis and I used to tell them all the taxis drivers in town were on strike and they'd better just walk. I told one woman that we were weren't accepting passengers who weighed over 10 stone, and that she would need to be willing to get on the driver's scale before getting in. She said that was fine!

That does seem a bit late but I wouldn't have answered either. Maybe they dialed you by mistake but these days you just never know,

I've been getting fake political calls and fake medical insurance calls for the last two weeks, but always during the daytime.
