He showed up!

Some of you may remember my pain management doctor who frequently does not show up for appointments, or is extremely late. Last time, he was in Slovakia, but he wanted everyone there to get our vitals by the nurse. I’m sure getting those copays had nothing to do with it.
Anyway, he was there today, and although he made me wait two hours past my appointment time, I was just thankful he showed. By the way, has anyone ever taken Lyrica for nerve pain?
Anyway, after that I went to Auto Zone to have them install new windshield wipers on my car. Driving in just a light rain was stupidly hard. They’ll put them on for free, but I tipped the guy. He was really nice. After that, the post office!
Then I dropped by my dad and Diana’s to check on him after his fall. His neck is better, but his back isn’t. The little goober didn’t tell me he also hurt his lower back. At least, the CT Scan is tomorrow.
What are you up to?

Also ran an errand to the post office. Today was mother-in-law visit day. I'm mentally exhausted.

Is the mother-in law- worse today? I hope not, but I know some days are way worse than others.
I am always traumatized if I have to visit the post office! They should pass out gifts for us all, or give us sympathy cards that say how sorry they are that they basically just...well, they suck.

No, I've never taken Lyrica. I take Duloxetine for diabetic nerve pain in my feet and legs. (My feet and legs were tingling all the time until Pretty mentioned it to our GP and she prescribed Duloxetine for the weird feeling. I can actually feel my feet and lower legs again and what I'm stepping on.)
It's time I start working on late lunch. I need to divide up the 5 lbs pack of ground beef and cook some of it with pasta for our lunch.

My nerve pain is due to fibromyalgia, and I hope Lyrica works. I get sick of my legs driving me nuts. I’m glad you found something that worked for your diabetic nerve pain. I can’t imagine not feeling what I’m stepping on.
Your lunch sounds like it’s going to be tasty!

@AmbiePam It was delicious, thank you.
I hope Lyrica works for you, too. Good luck with it!

It’s good that he finally showed up but to make you wait two hours is just naughty ……see how polite I am being …..I’m pleased your Dads neck is getting better but sorry to hear that his back isn’t. Fingers crossed all is well with the scan tomorrow x

I think you need a new pain doctor. Waiting over two hours is not acceptable.
Men!! What is it with them that they often don’t tell us the whole story when they have health issues? I am glad about the scan, now you will have to nag him about the results of it! I hope and pray it’s only a strain of some sort!

I am glad he is better now. Where and Why did he fall?
I went to the cafe and do the same routine, and I just finished one book.

Sounds like a busy day there. That is a long wait, but good that he showed. Heard of the med, never taken it...but don't have nerve pain (that I know)
Not much going on here...in an hour I'll be going to get Eli from school.

I hate waiting for the doctor. I showed up about 15 minutes early for the previous appointment and had to wait for an hour, even though there were only a handful of people in the waiting room . On Monday, I ran a few minutes late, the waiting room was PACKED, and I barely sat down before they were calling my name. It's just impossible to predict.
