Do you get tired of the same old same old?

My hubby the guinea pig. I made a savory cobbler tonight. I soaked fajita mix in warm water then stirred a raw egg in. I poured that over sliced mushrooms and onion and yellow summer squash. I put some Greek plain yogurt in, too. I baked the dish for about twenty minutes. The garbanzos in the mix was good, solid protein. It had a nice amount of spice in it, too. I think it turned out pretty tasty. This is the second day of another round of fake summer warm days. Tonight we will have a mild frost. I managed to get in some garden bed digging and planted a couple flowers. Hubby pulled grass by the side arch. Just excuses to be in the warm daylight and get some mild exercise. Good old sciatica has woken and is grumbling at me again. The stinker. I do not want to go back to physical therapy.

If I feel I am getting into a rut, I will always change it up. Hope your sciatica won't be too bad.

Yes, I do... But I don't know what to change. If I cook something that just sounds good to me, Pretty won't even try it. She lays out stuff that she claims she "might" eat so I cook it and she won't touch it. Most of the time, it's stuff she bought just for her and she knows I won't eat it. Then why lay it out for me to cook? Am I the crazy one or is she just being a girl? She has two boxes of stuff sitting on the counter where I put things I'm going to cook... Then asks why I haven't made them yet.

Please forgive me. Your answer reminds me too much of the old and not nice Alabama jokes about being married to your cousin.

@sallypup You're forgiven... Most of the time here, the jokes are about Arkansas and being married to your sister.

Have you ever tried a chiropractor appointment? I know I’ve told this story before, but when I was 25 I was using a cane. I saw a chiropractor three times that first week, and by the third visit I didn’t need the cane. After that, he just had me come in twice a month.

@AmbiePam Chiropractors took my money. Physical therapists helped best but also gave me a whole new diet of exercises and yup, I've fallen off the wagon.

Do you get tired of the same old same old? Not really I enjoy a lot of foods and stuff we eat quite often so it's never really same old same old. Sciatica doesn't sound good. Hope you can get it fixed soon. Physical therapy wouldn't be my thing either - but if it helps I would grin and bear it

@Ineeddentures Eons ago I tackled a horse when I shouldn't have. Sciatica has bit me ever since. I've had physical therapist's attention twice. It is like arthritis. It never totally scrams- the devil for sure.

@Ineeddentures Sometimes. Pain killers eventually damage the liver and kidneys.

I'm sorry you are getting a frost tonight. It was cold here today, I woke up to 40's and wasn't expecting that. I hope you can find some good relief for your sciatica, I know the pain from that can be very intense.
