I’m looking forward to this weekend.

I know we just finished the weekend, and while I’m going to enjoy the week (hopefully), this coming weekend I’ll be earning $150, and that money is so needed right now. You might remember last year during this time I was the judge for something my sister was in charge of, and once again, I’m doing it. Friday night I’ll just get texted the names of who is due up in the memorization and then them out to the room full of kids. That’s $75 for about two hours. The next day is judging the groups of drama, which takes about two hours, and is $75 too.
Remember the disaster of that art judge last year? My sister had to have her back. Mindy said no up until it was clear they couldn’t get a third qualified judge. This did result in a chat where my sister had to come out and tell her what happened last year cannot happen this year (she gave a child a zero; which is impossible if you’re judging right). Hopefully, the one on one chat worked.
This time of year always stresses my sister out. Of course, Amyra is competing this year, so that ups the stress for her.

All I know is that I'm going to the Centre on Wednesday, and getting a bone scan on Thursday.

@AmbiePam I have osteopinnea ((bird bones)) but my last bone scan was more than 10 years ago, so my doctor thought it should be checked again.

Yes, I do. I'll be enjoying being in the air conditioning while playing on myLot, reading my books, (I downloaded 3 more last night onto my phone.) and working around the house.

I hope everything goes to plan. I’ve got the beginnings of a cold, and I’m hoping my sister won’t need a sub. I told her I had a cold, but she said short of getting a fever it was okay to show up. I may wear a mask for the sake of anyone who has to sit next to me.

It's a three book series called Children of Time. Squids and octopuses are intelligent and have moved onto a human terraformed world. The humans haven't found out the cephalopods are there, too.
It sounds really interesting.

Yay, 150 dollars for 4 hours not bad Besides it will give something fun and interesting to do and you will get to see the fam. Weekend..hmm not sure, but hopefully something will pop up, if not, I have something in mind.

That sounds like a wonderful way to earn such easy money. I wasn’t on myLot last year, so missed the drama. No child should ever be given a 0.

Anytime with the your son and fiancée is time well spent. 
Yes, a zero is unacceptable, and this was very clear in the rules that the way points were deducted, no child would get less than a 90. Apparently this lady was a little too “big in the britches” since she routinely has her art in shows and museums. Because she gave one child a blanket zero. This resulted in a very upset child, and my sister doing some fast talking.
She thought all year she’d find someone qualified for art, but didn’t. I mean, she looked three towns over for a sign language judge, but couldn’t find another art judge.
Amyra is competing in drawing, painting, and photography. She’s in an older age group now so it may be tougher, but she’s got a pretty good attitude just to do her best.

@AmbiePam Thank you and I agree. He FaceTimed us today and we will touch base again Wednesday evening once we get our boarding passes on our phones and give him the exact time of our arrival. He’ll be picking us up at an airport in NY during major rush hour.
That woman must be insane to break a young child’s heart, especially after knowing the very clear rules. I really like your sister from all I know about her through you. I’m sorry after all her searching that she couldn’t find a qualified art judge.

Sounds like a good way to earn some money. I don't recall that, but I am not always around to catch up on everything.

This upcoming weekend we will have church at the Pastor's house and lunch and a baptism in the hot tub. Saturday is supposed to be a church work day.
