Do you think the latest possible "assassination attempt" of Trump was staged?

By now we have all heard about the gunman who allegedly shot an agent of some sort in the chest at some kind of Washington DC "press dinner." The agent was wearing a bullet-proof vest and will survive. Many people are saying the event may have been staged. Trump's ratings are at an all-time low (possibly the lowest ratings a sitting US president has ever received), and the "president" is angry that a judge allowed continuation of his "bunker" beneath the White House, but ordered a stop to the construction off his his vanity "golden ballroon." Many things are "suspicious"about the shooting, including a FOX feed that was suddenly cut of when an interviewee was about to divulge that she was at the event and had been told before the incident that something "unusual" was going to happen. I'll leave it at that. Is there new information to add? I have not done any research yet this morning. What do you think?

I believe all three assassination events were staged. My guess is that they brought in a marksman from the military and paid him to "miss". Surely, out of three "random" people, one of them knew how to aim his weapon. Supposedly, the second "shooter" clipped trump's ear. Where is the scar?

I am open to the possibility that all three events were staged. But my second thought (except for the guy outside the golf course, who was nowhere near Trump) is that it would be really difficult to pull off.

@TheHorse I don't remember where trump was for the second attempt. The guy at the dinner should have just waited outside for the parties to leave. There should have been a chance after the dinner to get one good shot off at him.

No, I don't think it was real. I'm sorry, but there's this "boy who cried wolf" syndrome. HIs worshippers have voiced belief that the "bloody ear" attempt was fake (since he's subsequently been shown with a pristine ear while the rest of us have 60-year-old smallpox vaccine scars still clearly visible), and when your ardent admirers start turning, it's a bad sign. Personally, I don't believe it was real in that a Lee Harvey Oswald/John Hinkley type of attack (oh, BTW, that happened at the same hotel where Reagan was shot!), simply because even press people have commented how stupidly easy it was to walk around the hotel without proving who they were. There's something definitely not kosher in that vat of dill pickles.

More stuff is coming out. Did you see the acting Atty. General equivocate about what actually happened?

I checked several videos, it's suspicious, particularly that large smile of Hegseth as to say "great everything is going according to the plans".

@TheHorse And Trump did not agree to move out immediately because he wanted to check how things were going on. NO ONE was hurt, not even the shooter.

So he has two big distractions going on. But I will want to see more evidence before I state that I think the shooting was staged.

@wolfgirl569 Yeppers .Several of his sycophants tweeted (or whatever) that this event showed how important the ballroom was. And that may have been with in an hour of the event itself.

@thehorse François Mitterrand staged an assassination attempt in Paris in 1959 - he was found out and had to wait till 1981 to will the presidency. Trump may well have got his people to set this up - he’s the most unstable person around.

@TheHorse the two recovered. They were interveiwed briefly, then didn't want anymore press coverage.

If so, they sure botched the one in PA. That one fireman lost his life.

What happened to the other two people who were shot in PA? I never see/hear anything about them.

The shooting was definitely not staged. Neither were the previous two assassination attempts. Those saying that it was staged are definitely leftists. An agent was indeed shot, but was saved by his bulletproof vest. The shooter was apprehended.

Where have you been doing your research? I've been checking everything from regular news reports to FOX news. Why do you think FOX suddenly cut the feed from the interview with a lady who was at the event and was told by someone there that something "unusual" was about to happen? I just don't have enough info yet to come to a firm conclusion.

@TheHorse I have seen videos on Facebook of what went down during the event. It was different sources. And of course, these are real videos not AI generated.

I once said it and I'll say it again it might be something that Trump knows about and wants to get plenty of sympathy for himself because sitting at a dinner and someone shoots believe me that bullet would got straight through Turmp's chest if positioned right, Something dirty is a foot.

I am still gathering information. Apparently the alleged shooter's family received his "manifesto" (by mail) days before the event. They contacted authorities, but nothing was done. Odd.

I will do some more research. A couple of people on MyLot have said they KNOW it was not. That means they have done far more research than I have. I am still "on the fence." There ARE a lot of crazy people in the US.
