I check on my plants today.
Sadly, 2 out of 3 chili peppers died. One is surviving for I don't know how long. I tried spraying with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide with water as suggested by @DaddyEvil. I must be late in my intervention.
But they were still okay last week. So I just have to wait and see.
As for my calamansi plant, so far there is no worm eating leaves around it. It has grown to around 18 inches tall already.
My hibiscus plant had a flower yesterday, just one flower bloomed but I'm happy.

Peppers don't dwell well in hot weather. They wither easily.

I'm sorry you lost the rest of the pepper plants but I hope that one survives. Good luck with the one remaining plant.
I'm sure the hibiscus flower is beautiful.

It's summer in my city and no use planting plants. My mango tree is big and full of mangoes and the hibiscus and rosemary are bearing flowers.

I hope your plants survive.
The hydrogen peroxide should improve oxygen quality on the compost and eliminate root rot as well as eradicate pests etc
I have no idea anyway stage that would still be effective
