We are getting that front today, the one everybody has been talking about. It will feature strong winds, thunderstorms and perhaps a tornado or two, but probably not in this area..it looks like it is more likely for areas close to the Carolina border. We are going to have some showers this AM, but to be followed by sunshine. The more sunshine the worse the evening storms will be, so lets hope there is not a lot. I will be glad to get this day out of the way. Have a good one, and I hope your weather is better than mine.

Thank you, We will have to wait and see. I don't think we are going to have Canadian geese hitting the house like one mylotter posted.

@Wrexxo Yeah, lots of times when these fronts come from West to East as most of them do, they leave a lot of their "punch" by the time they get here.

I hope things weather-wise don't get too bad there today. We have showers for this afternoon and rain following. So far this morning it's chilly and I had to put the heat on.

I think I t is 63 outside and about 65 inside. I put the warm blanket on, but no other heat. It is supposed to warm up.

That’s what the same storm did here. Hit rather hard in the morning with bad thunderstorms and crazy winds. Then calm until about 4:30 pm, and then a wild crazy ride of almost every—fierce winds, lashing rains, and tornadoes. And followed by a very long power outage. No fatalities but a lot of damage. Be safe!!! Charge your stuff. You know the drill.
