A Frog That Never Croaks at Night... Would You Believe It?

From my discussion "What Sounds Soothes You?" @LadyDuck and I end up talking about frog. Then, reminds me of a frog here that often play hide and seek. Would you believe? If I tell you that it really never croaks at night. I even wonder if it is mute? but I know it's not. The only reason I am sure is, this frog avoid being caught by me. There was once when this certain frog try to peek in, checking if I was there. When it sees me, it hides. It's quiet funny though. The moments the frog is sure I wasn't looking suddenly jump and oops! like a car who is fast and suddenly break then made a U-turn. For real if you saw it, you too will laugh at it. The frog I'm talking to, is the frog prince who never asked permission to be our regular VVIF inside the house. Photo is mine, I took a long time ago and posted to other platforms. And yes, the frog living inside our house looks like that.

While I wouldn’t want a frog living in my house, the tale of your frog is really cute.

I don't want it either. But this frog is quite smart. It has always find ways to get in and out in our house. So there's no end of hide and seek between us.

That is a very polite frog. I had a toad coming inside one day. I do not know how it managed to come in, but I found it on the floor of our laundry room. It was not easy to throw it out.

@Jehanne - I found the cat of my neighbors sleeping on our bed a few times. He jumped inside when I let the window looking on the garden open.

It is... or it just the tactic so I won't know where it's whereabouts inside the house. The first hideout was in our kitchen and it's been so many times I shoo it to get out but it keeps coming back. Now it's hiding in our lounge. One time, I was at our kitchen door I pretended never saw it coming. Lol! slowly jumping to get inside.

I think possums is way better to live in house than a frog. But it's nicer when it just visit in a porch area but this frog in our home now I don't even know what's it's plan.

We have a pond diagonally across the street from us. It’s too early to hear them croak.

And it's my first time to encounter one of it. but I sure this knows how to Croaks, it just happened it never do it because it's basically living inside our house every night. Smart not to make noise or it'll be kick out because of not paying a rent. Lol!

At one time I had a frog that liked to hang out under our porch light to catch bugs. He was fun to watch, stuck with his sticky feet to the wall.

I do know it's hard to find a frog in a garden if you're looking for it.

they are hard to find when it's daylight, unless they have a pond where they'll stay all day.

@JudyEv that means it's good in hiding or camouflaging.
