My Cozy Little Corner

Happy Friday Everyone! woke up to a sunny morning and it looks like a nice day ahead.
I've been busy re-doing my bedroom. At the beginning of the year my daughters helped me make a nice little reading nook in the alcove by my windows. It's definitely a cozy little corner but i never really used it because I just didn't know what to do with it.
After throwing out some suggestions, they came up with the idea of making it into what is now a nice little reading nook.
I have a power reclining loveseat (so comfortable) with a picture that I love hanging above it
A new tv which is on a coffee table that my son refinished probably over 20 years ago. I kept it more because he worked so hard on refinishing it and now it's been added to my cozy corner.
A tiffany lamp I inherited from my great aunt on a side table
And a small bookcase with books (naturally) as well as some family photos.
I've changed the color scheme to navy and pink and now I'm crocheting a reading size blanket that will cover my lap and knees in a navy & pink.
Hopefully for Mother's Day I'll get the new light weight comforter/quilt and the new curtains on my wish list. I didn't even drop hints this time. I came right out and told my younger daughter that's what I want and to pass the word. 
Even though my room has been slow going it's really starting to get that comfy, cozy feeling.
Now, if I could only get rid of all the stuff in my closet....but that's another project that will take time.

My favorite spots vary depending upon weather and time of the day.
In summers, wherever AC is I am fine.
In winters, where I can get sunshine!
In the mornings, it is the Drawing room.
De cluttering can be a very big task and recurring one.
I am a bit lazy in that aspect but have made some new plans.
Enjoy your place, Coffee, Food and Cozy corner !

I usually sprawl across my bed when I read or play online. My bedroom is done in dark blue and dark green. I have mirrors on three walls that look like windows... I like them.

I really like one of the chairs in the living room. I have a nice chair in the bedroom, but I never sit in it.

I usually sit in front of my PC or TV, depending on what I wanna do. I can't say they're my favorites but those are the only 2 places where I spend a lot of time.

Your cozy corner sounds lovely. But isn't it missing a vital necessity? A coffee maker? 
I've always loved our little den here.
It was transformed into my office 6 years ago, but I have plans to change it back to the den again after I retire.
When it is changed, we have our former oak kitchen table and chairs in there, and it will graduate to my husband's jigsaw puzzle. He will enjoy the quietness of the room.

Sounds very cozy. It depends on the time of year for me. Sometimes I prefer my No Football Room. Other times curled up in the family room or outside

I love my old new pink family room the most, although I happen to love all my rooms. My goal was to make them look like a magazine photo shoot, yet comfortable and beautiful. Just brought home 3 beautiful little lamps for a pink marble antique table. I do love reading in my new pink room or in my bedroom. Enjoy yours.

It's cold here today and I'm thinking I'll move all my summer tops to one end of the wardrobe as I won't be needing them for a while.

My office is my favorite spot in the house. Let's see if I can add a photo here. This was before they installed the plantation shutters.
