@rebelann I agree with you. I don't know if the conflicts in the past just seemed so far away in my mind or if it is maturity, or the fact that even in North America we are battling. It breaks my heart, I only wish that truces can be made and relations can improve. Afterall, neighbours should get along in reality just like we do on the site here.

@rebelann We have alot of migrant workers from Jamaica and other countries who do not want to leave after the seasonal work is done, and they stay on to enjoy our free healthcare. We also have alot of middle Easterners come here and await getting their citizenship-and of course they have their hand out the entire time for government social services.

Yeah, same here. I lost some friends back then and here we are still at war somewhere.

Thank you Anna. Yes, it was a Vietnam War protest song but done in a gentler way than some others I have heard, it would fit in with the stupid wars going one these days

@rebelann - We also had those Vietnam War protest songs in Italian, we marched against Vietnam war, but it did not help.

Thank you. Mother Nature gave us a desert type area with almost no trees but we do get to see this kind of sky IF we happen to have clouds, here clouds are not as common as in other areas.

So the sunsets don't lend color to those clouds @garymarsh6 ? I've heard about Britains cloudy days, I think I would miss the blue skies we usually have.

@rebelann Oh we on the other hand could send you clouds in abundance. Miserable grey looking clouds that sap the energy out of you. So when we see clouds like your photo they lift our glum moods!
