I Chose To Stay Warm

We didn't get above 45 until around noon. So I decided to stay home and warm. I did get a few things done outside after it finally warmed up some.
First was to clean the back porch area. Then I got my new table and chairs into place. If it ever warms up I will sit out there in the evenings. I love the way it fit into the area.
Next I used my leaf blower to clear the area where I am going to plant my pumpkins. Then I got some netting up to hopefully keep grass from blowing over there. I will find out tomorrow if that works. Hubby plans to mow. So I will do the trimming.
I put my chicken eggs in the incubator. I could only get 8 in with the duck eggs already in there. I will check them all next week.
Last I cleaned off the other patio table. I just need to put the chairs in place around it. Then I can sit out there and watch the chickens and ducks. Once again if it ever warms up.

I'm still interested in this incubation of the eggs you talked about before
We got 18 eggs from a farm today delivered to our door
If I got an incubator could I do it
And how do you know when there might a baby in the egg
And then what do you do?

I'm sure Eva will fill you in but you'd need to check that there is a rooster running with the hens where you buy the eggs or the eggs won't be fertile. That's Step No. 1. If farms/establishments are just interested in egg production, they probably don't have roosters running with their flocks.

Our local weather crew has been making the comment that we all need to enjoy the cooler weather because we will have a record hot summer. I know you love hot weather but it’s really hard for me to stand. Hopefully it will be warm but not horrible. I guess time will tell.

I'm sure you brought George in the house so he stayed warm, too. I'm sure he enjoyed that!

Your new setting looks really nice. If I have to sit on a tall chair, I like it to have a back which is probably why I really like these.
