What a Whammy

I usually call or text my dad after church on Sundays to see how the church service went, but yesterday he didn’t answer. Long story short, my stepmom’s son-in-law had a heart attack and was in the hospital. He’s having four bypasses this morning, and it doesn’t look good. He’s only in his early fifties, and in great shape. My stepmom’s daughter couldn’t have kids so she and her husband decided they’d just devote their lives to travel and their pets. They’re both biochemical engineers, and they’ve hiked in Peru, and run marathons in Paris. They’re a great couple.
If you could just say a prayer for them if you pray, I’d appreciate it, and I know they would too.

I am sending up prayers now for him, as he goes through this procedure.
Being in excellent physical condition is a must for survival and recouperation for such an operation.
My BIL, Bob, had the same done almost 18 months ago, and he told us how tiring it was afterwards, but he said that he pushed himself as hard as he could because he saw his roommate, who had his procedure done a day before, wasn't faring well, and Bob didn't want that for himself.
God bless him, the hands that perform the delicate procedure as well as his wife, who will be waiting on pins and needles during that time.

Oh my! Of course I'm saying a prayer for them right now. What s shocker that a fit young person would have a heart attack and need such extensive surgery. I'm so sorry.
