Today is Anita´s day.

She will come soon and heavy clening will start. Richard will also come as he took my tablet home to fix my Kindle´s password so that I can buy books. Books at Kindle are cheaper than paper books and they have some that I would not be able to get here. I´m planning to read again many of Agatha Christie´s mysteries. And perhaps even classics that I have in my second floor. But it is easier to buy them for some cents than to climb the stairs. The day is gray but I hope it is warm enough to dry my Monday washing. See you later

Nothing is happenning with the house. I´m beginning tto get nervous. If nothing happens in the next few months, I will have to sit down and do some budgeting after my holidays.

@marguicha It's taking a while right enough. If you didn't sell it what would you do in the longer term

There is a new app called Speechify. All you have to do is take a picture of the book with your phone and it will start reading it to you. You have the option of the voice who reads it. Cool, huh? Costly to get the whole 9 yards of course. What will they think of next? Take care.

I also bought a Kindle, I read a lot and Kindle books are a lot cheaper. I have re-read the Sherlock Holmes mysteries and I have all the Hercule Poirot downloaded already.

Agatha Christie was a wonderful writer. I loved the settings of those novels of high society people.

@marguicha - I enjoyed all her novels and books. I loved her "diaries" about her travels in Egypt, Petra and Baghdad.

I read most of my books on my Kindle, too, now. It's too hard to get out to the garage and go through all the boxes of books stored out there. I hope you, Anita and Richard have a lovely day today.

Today we had a lukewarm sun but the clothes got dry as the wind helped. I did not have to turn on the heater.

I love to have a book in my hand when I read, but if you can get a book on Kindle cheaper, then I understand. I haven't heard in a while; how is Luna?

I have thousands of wonderful books I´d love to reread on my second floor but I don´t dare limb alone. I, too, prefer paper books.

I’m sure you will be glad to get your Kindle back. My phone has the Kindle App, so I just read my books on my phone. Kindles are great.

I have some books on my Kindle. But right now I have been listening to a book on my phone. I had gotten an audiobook from the library and had saved the file on my phone.

I've never been keen on reading books on a Kindle but then I don't have to climb stairs.

I did not care about Kindle until my knees and back start hurting a lot. My second floor is full of books I´d love to read again.

I'm glad Anita came to clean. I hope Richard was able to fix your Kindle password. I want to read but the print is so small. I like real books and not ebooks.
