Gas prices up again?

Yeppres, gas prices are up another 20 cents in sunny California. The price of Regular is $5.92 at my discount station. It is above $6.00 at Chevron.
My gas station guy (the one I speak to in French--he's from North Africa) says they are having supply issues with basic items like cigarettes.
And "we" voted for this. Or not.
Are gas prices continuing to rise where you live as well?

@LeaPea2417 In California, I'd be lost without a car .It was a five mile trip to visit my horse. But no bus lines ran out there

Sadly yes, not that high....but we are up to about $4.50. Our cheap gas stations went up to $4.44 when they were in the $4.20s just on Saturday.

Yes, the price for a gallon of gas at Walmart jumped from around $3.60 to $3.94 overnight.
And no, I didn't vote for trump! No right-minded person did!

Yes, on April 30, it was $3.89, then yesterday it is $4.29 a gallon.

They have pretty much hovered around $4.75 to $5.00 for over a week. This morning, $4.93 I think. I used to use an app called gas buddy, to check which stations near me was the cheapest--until the nuttiness started recently. I have discovered that in my area, the gas buddy app does not even attempt to keep up with updating the prices, so it's become useless.
