We are going to a friend’s 80th birthday celebration this evening. We’ve been friends since our children went to the same school and the kids are now all in their 50s. She and her husband were the ones who introduced us to the village and encouraged us to buy here so we have much to thank them for. A mutual friend is also attending the party and will stay here overnight. She is arriving shortly and we’ll have time for a game of Qwirkle before heading to the clubhouse.
