Eurovision song contest.
The UK entrant, some English guy excelled and did us all so proud, and came last.
Bulgaria won thank god.
Lovely girl called Dara
The alternative at the end was unthinkable and unpalatable and thankfully didn't happen - Israel isnt even in Europe and shouldn't even be in the competition.
On that note neither is Australia but hey, everyone likes a bit of Delta Goodrem.
But the UK guy got one point,
Dara for Bulgaria got over 500.

And Yvonne cooked Chicken Pakora and a Glasgow Pink Pakora Sauce

We were lucky to come last. That’s how bad the song (was it a song?) was.
I didn’t watch it, but saw the results and the winning song. That Bulgarian girl has a great future in front of her. 
Delta Goodram is a great singer and should have won, but what do I know? I’m not European.

Good for the UK and congrats to Bulgaria. Now I mention the Latvian version,
Latvia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 by the song "Ena", written by Janis Jacmenkins and Liene Sturmane, and performed by Sturmane herself under her stage name Atvara. The Latvian participating broadcaster, Public Broadcasting of Latvia (LSM), organised the national final Supernova 2026 in order to select its entry for the contest.

Latvia sadly never got to the grand final, the UK should not have been there, perhaps Latvia should have had our place

Oh the Bulgarian girl was really good.
As for Israel, I have no idea why exceptions are made for them so often
Even in Soccer World Cup they play matches in the European qualifiers
And in the European Nations league as well
