The humidity is 94%. It rained all night and we're expecting more showers among the sunshine today with a high in the 70s F. Right now, it's 68 F. I'm wearing shorts for the first time this year. My patio door is open and the breeze is wafting in. And my back can feel every bit of it.
I opened up my e-mails this morning when I sent out my morning Daily Bible study and saw that In the Hands of Mighty Men is now available on Amazon. I also ordered my copies.
Today I'll be doing more of the same that I've been doing for the past six weeks - writing and heating pad. I see the chiropractor on Friday this week because my infusion is Thursday. Those are the only things on my calendar this week. No rock painting, no anything until I can safely do so without intense pain.
I want my life back. I'm taking each day, each moment one at a time. The fact that I am here, that I can work on the computer is a gift and blessing. I'll take it.
I've run the dishwasher and I need to take my garbage down. I'm waiting for the Ibuprofen to kick in sufficiently to do that. My clothes basket is getting full which means I need to do laundry tomorrow. I will and then no doubt sit on the heating pad for a couple of hours.
I'm not complaining. I'm stating my life as I feel it right now. I'm grateful for every blessing God gives me even in the pain. There are always blessings. You only need to take the time to be aware of them.
What are you grateful for today? Are you grateful for the pain? I am because it means I'm still alive to enjoy all of God's blessings.

I can certainly relate to your relationship with the heating pad. I have one next to my chair and use it every day for either my back or across my knees.
I hope you start to feel better. it's already hot here and it's not even 11am yet. Our temps today might hit 100 degrees 
My day started early, My son came to snake out the shower drain so we had coffee together before he headed out to a day of work.
Glad your book is available on Amazon. You know I'll be getting it soon. You're publishing faster than I can read

You were complaining I wasn't publishing last year. Now I'm publishing too fast 
Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to catch up now. I published the four I planned for this year. Now, I'm writing. It will be a while before I'm ready to publish again.
I'm glad you could have coffee with your son when he came to snake your shower.
Those heating pads are a gift from God, aren't they?

@just4him Yes I was complaining last year and did a whole about face now that I'm so behind in my reading. I would NEVER tell you to stop writing ...keep those books coming!!

It's 70 here as well. You don't get free copies of your books?

You are not complaining, but I think you are just telling us how God will step in to your life and make it all well with you.
I think we are all not complaining, but just being honest to God, talking about our pain... but on top of it WE ARE ALL GRATEFUL for His love and faithfulness.

The pain in my shoulders is getting unbearable. I may have to see a doctor about it. I'm sorry about your back pain.

@LindaOHio My chiropractor said there might be therapy for me. I'll see what the doctor says on Thursday.

Thank you. You don't need to complain on my behalf. As long as I can write, I have nothing to complain about. When I can't write, they better be putting this body in the ground. Then I'll be having the fun of my life. So, no complaints.

@just4him i'm glad you always find it it. you must be lion in your horoscope or some other strong zodiac sign. thank you. i sometiems see homeless people in the street or recognise those who don't have a lot and i find myself grateful.
