Steak For Lunch

Last Sunday, I had lunch with my family - my parents and siblings - at a Japanese steak house called Ikinari.
The place was packed and it was a good thing that we had a reservation. I had the wild steak cuts which was served with a side salad and soup. I must admit that there were parts of the steak that were tough but over-all it was good. I paired my steak with their wasabi mayo and wasabi mustard sauce. it gave just enough heat to the steak.
I also enjoyed the side salad and the two dressings it came with - a creamy roasted sesame kewpie and a soy vinaigrette.
Over-all it was a great lunch with good food and great company.

@wolfgirl569 grill works best for me.
Haven't tried it in a slow cooker but i bet the meat just comes off easy when you bite into it.

@allen0187 On our last two dockets we'd saved $28 and $34. We buy, say, a whole fillet of beef when it's on special and cut it into steaks. Or we buy a large roast, cut it into two and freeze one. Stuff like that.

i also don't like when a stake is chewy. i am glad you got the soup with your meals; i like a good soup.
