I saw this interesting artwork called the “Thinker Sculpture with Acrylic Box” in a restaurant in Makati. The figure was bent forward with its head inside a transparent orange box, making it look both artistic and mysterious. At first glance, it seemed a little strange, but the longer I looked at it, the more curious I became about what the artist wanted to express. Maybe it represents deep thinking, feeling trapped inside one’s thoughts. Or maybe it's just modern minimalist art. It is not every day that you see art pieces like this while dining out, so it definitely made the place more memorable for me.

Well, I find it weird. This sculpture also has wrong proportion, too small head compared to the body.

I think it is ironic they call it A Thinker sculpture when the guy is dumb enough to put his head in a box.

@rakski I suppose it is symbolic of being boxed in or "thinking in a box "

True. I tried googling it and that's the title I saw. But when you really think about it, I wonder why or what the maker is thinking when he design or made this

Maybe you are right. I wonder what's really in the minds of those artwork masters.

Like most art, it's always interpretive. It's whatever the admirer wants it to be even if the artist had a concept or idea when they made it. For me, I have no idea what this means. lol

That's quite unusual. I think you're right about the deep thinking. I can't imagine what else it could be.
