Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 59 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. We are expecting rain. It has been such crappy weather for the start of the summer season. I was up in the middle of the night. Now I'm up again at 8am. Luckily it is a day off so I can have whatever disordered sleep I do. I will be sure to get to bed early though because it is back at it tomorrow. No big plans for today. I will meal prep for the week. I want to bake something for coworkers. That's about it. I wish the pool was open and the weather was better. I need to work on my tan! What's everyone else up to today?

I’ve been doing dishes since I did a lot of cooking yesterday. I’m also looking for a lot of things that I was supposed to review I think got thrown away.

There are so many things I should be doing, it seems anymore I am often behind and I just don't catch up. I guess I have limits, but who knew? Not me, haha! Blah, gloomy Memorial Day, weather-wise. I hope they get your pool going and you can soon use it.

It’s the opposite here. We are in the middle of a heatwave. The record temperature for May was smashed in London today. 34.8C. I think that’s about 120F, or probably felt like it. Previous record was 32.8C back in 1944. We’re doomed! It’s not quite as hot here, but it’s hot enough for me to be lying on top of my duvet, not under it, and myLotting, trying to cool off at 2:30 in the morning. Sadly I don’t have aircon to come to the rescue. I think I need a fair maiden with a fan to cool me down. Although that might be a contradiction in itself.
